“King Richard”, 2021

A few months ago, “King Richard,” a film about Richard Williams, father of tennis legends Serena and Venus Williams, was released. The film tells how much he spent to bring up the champions, how he calculated the development of their careers in their youth, the sacrifices and compromises he had to make, but his total faith in his daughters’ talent helped him come this way. Brilliantly played Richard Williams actor Will Smith, who even managed to get for this role the “Golden Globe” award in the category “Best Drama Actor”.
